First Team All-State Football Players

This list contains all of the Richland Bomber football players named First Team All-State for Washington. This list is very distinguished and several of the players on the list have gone on to further careers in college and the NFL.

Made the Associate Press All-State Team as an Honorable Mention at the All-Purpose position. Jamison played baseball for four years for the Nevada Reno Wolfpack and is now working for the Texas Rangers

1989 Garrett Venters Nicknamed "Dr. Doom", played inside linebacker for the Montana Grizzlies and is currently a fireman for the City of Missoula.

1957 Pat Crook Started at Washington State for three years in football. Also played baseball for the Cougars and was the catcher for the Legendary Bobo Brayton in Bobo's first year as head coach.

1957 John Meyers Washington Huskies, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles. Was the starting right tackle for the Huskies in their 49-6 Rose Bowl victory over the Wisconsin Badgers. The next night, he played basketball for the Huskies against the UCLA Bruins!

1953 Ken Gardner During his senior year he was "outstanding lineman" of the Yakima Valley and also honored by being named to the 1953 1st team All-State Football team. He was inducted to the Football Hall of Fame in 1994. Bob Gandy (1952 All State) was also inducted in 1994.
